The Alesis iO|2 is a rugged, portable 24-bit/48kHz USB interface. This durable product features a heavy-duty bead blasted aluminum housing with tough switches and knobs that are securely bolted on. The iO|2 is built to last and will survive the abuses of the road longer than most musicians!

The ultra-low latency ASIO 2.0 drivers and bundled Cubase LE software make the iO|2 a complete recording studio for musicians on the go. Just add a computer and you're ready to record right out of the box.

Quality mic preamps with phantom power and instrument inputs
The Alesis iO|2 has great mic preamps with 48-volt phantom power and comprehensive metering. The flexible inputs can handle everything from mics to guitars/basses to keyboards and have inserts for outboard processing. The iO|2 even has full MIDI and S/PDIF I/O so you won't need to buy or carry any additional gear.

Compact and durable for great on-the-road performance
The Alesis iO|2 is super compact, easily fitting into a laptop case or small backpack. Plus, the interface is USB powered so there's no need to worry about finding an AC plug or carrying around a external power supply.

“I got the IO2 two days ago, loaded the drivers, plugged in the device into my PC... device "UKNOWN" urgh... I spent 40 minutes on the phone with the Alesis support team and the guy basically gave up on me. I called Sweetwater Tech Support this morning and Mike had the problem solved in under three minutes.
