ADAM Delivers Extra-Deep Bass!
ADAM's new and improved Sub10 MK2 boasts a redesigned cabinet with a new downfiring bass reflex tube that, due to its shape and size, avoids "breathing" noise from the tube with much more effect. The Sub10 MK2 includes a 10" coated paper woofer that is driven by a 200-watt ICE power amp to deliver a rated 115dB SPL. It is great for 2.1 or surround use with P series and S series models up through S3A. Frequency response (± 3dB) is 25Hz to 150Hz. The Sub10 MK2s rear control panel includes operational mode and subwoofer phase switches, satellite filter 85Hz hi-pass switch, subwoofer input gain (-40dB to +6dB), subwoofer variable lo-pass filter cutoff (50Hz to 150Hz), stereo balanced (XLR) & unbalanced (RCA) inputs and outputs, and balanced sub output for cascading additional subwoofer units. If you need solid low end, you need a Sub 10 MK2!
ADAM Sub10 MK2 Subwoofer at a Glance:
- Versatile
- Balanced and Unbalanced Connections
Versatile
Sub10 can used with many different satellites. Variable fourth-order Linkwitz-Riley filters are used to make the crossovers as musical as possible. The phase of the incoming signal can be varied between 0° and 180° to allow for maximum flexibility in woofer placement. If you need even more low-frequency power, you can use the sub output to connect as many Sub10 MK2s together as you need.
Balanced and Unbalanced Connections
The Sub10 MK2 is easy to integrate into your system. Connect via your choice of RCA or balanced XLR connectors. In order to adapt the Sub10 to different satellite loudspeakers, you can limit the high frequency output of the subwoofer with the variable low pass filter. Plus, you can independently roll off the low frequency output of the satellites using a variable high pass filter.

“In my production studio i have a pair of Adam P33-A monitors, which are based on Adam's S3a's.
I love these monitors from top to bottom. They have incredible mid-mid high end detail all thanks to the adam art tweater.
However using the P33-A's over and over, i felt that something was missing in the bottom octave.
I tried out the Sub10...and wow. What a...” Read More
