A rugged microphone tuned to accentuate the clarity of lead and back-up vocals, the PG58-XLR boasts a smooth and extended tailored frequency response and is Tuned specifically for vocal applications. The cardioid polar pattern picks up the most sound from in front of the microphone and some sound from the sides. Less susceptible to feedback in high volume settings. Sounds pretty good, but I'd recommend EQing this mic. Sounds clear above my band, but it does pick up a bit of feedback if it's in a small room with the volume turned way up.
