From the warm sound of tube-modeled equalizers to the pure transparency of linear phase filters, iZotope Ozone 3 provides the tools and the technology you need to deliver top-notch audio masters.
iZotope Ozone 3 Includes:
- Multi-band Dynamics - The iZotope Ozone 3 dynamics processor delivers up to four bands of analog-modeled compression, limiting, and expansion with a smooth sound and a fine degree of control. You'll have real-time visualization of the dynamics within each band, including gain reduction meters, level histograms, and X-Y compression curves. Choose from analog or digital linear phase crossovers with adjustable Q (bandwidth). iZotope Ozone 3's compressor also offers both RMS and peak detection modes.
- Paragraphic EQ - Shape your iZotope Ozone 3 mix with eight bands of bell, high-pass, low-pass, high-shelf or low-shelf filters overlaid on a fully configurable spectrum analyzer. Choose from analog-modeled EQ with "soft saturation" modeling, or digital linear phase filtering with up to 16,000 bands of precision! With iZotope Ozone 3 you can compare your mixes with a powerful spectrum analyzer that offers real-time and average modes, critical or third octave bands and snapshots. A matching mode lets you use spectrum snapshots of recordings to create "automatic" EQ curves.
- Multi-band Harmonic Exciter - Use up to four bands of multi-band excitation for adding warmth, sparkle or shine to your mixes. Choose from retro, tape or tube-modeled excitation with adjustable amount and mix controls for each band. iZotope Ozone 3's unique multi-band time offset controls for tightening and adding "attack" to bass and kick.
- Multi-band Stereo Imaging - With up to four bands of multi-band stereo widening you can add space to your mix without losing the bass. Visualize the stereo image with a powerful phase/channel meter display that highlights imaging, phase and potential canceling problems. iZotope Ozone 3 lets you apply multi-band channel delay controls for adjusting the perceived location of the stereo field or correcting tape errors.
- Mastering Reverb - iZotope Ozone 3's dual mode reverb adds ambience to your mix. Selectable plate or room modeling algorithms provide "studio" or "acoustic" ambience. You have control over room size, predelay, width, frequency cutoff and more. Special controls allow soloing the wet signal, adjusting the frequency response and monitoring the width and phase of the reverb signal.
- Loudness Maximizer - With iZotope Ozone 3 you can push the level without overloading using analog-modeled or transparent digital loudness maximizers that surpass the quality of many hardware units! Intelligent release control technology prevents breathing or pumping. Visual feedback is provided through limiting gain reduction meters and overall loudness histograms.

iZotope Ozone 3's 64-bit internal processing chain supports up to a 192kHz sampling rate for high-resolution work. Your mix sounds better because all processing is done via 64-bit DSP until its final output.
Pro-quality dithering produces superior sounding CDs
When you're ready to prepare your audio for CD, iZotope Ozone 3 provides premium-quality word-length reduction and high-order, psychoacoustic shaped dither. The included MBIT+ dither delivers psychoacoustically optimal word length reduction, which outperforms most other algorithms. In addition, iZotope Ozone 3's integrated DC offset filtering, auto-blanking and dither harmonic suppression result in dynamic and transparent conversions. A unique set of bit scopes and DC level meters provide a complete view of the digital bitstream and conversion process.

“I was originally skeptical of this tool; snazzy graphics and a whole mastering suite for $200? I passed. But I've really grown to trust iZoptope's products and they are indeed EXCELLENT!

"I have used Ozone 3 on numerous projects, sometimes using the vast amount of presets as a starting point and then tweaking them from there, or just using one of the six individual modules by itself. With the EQ in digital mode, it is a fantastic transparent linear phase EQ. One of my favorite features is the "solo" feature on the EQ module - press the ALT key with a narrow bandwidth, click/drag your mouse, and it solos ONLY those bands, making it much easier to hear problem frequencies and pull them out of the mix! Ozone 3 is loaded with great tools!"
