A Great Condenser Mic for Studio or Live Use!
The Shure KSM27 side-address cardioid condenser microphone gives you highly-accurate, natural sound in the studio — and it's tough enough to take the stage, too! The KSM27 is voiced to perform great on vocals and instruments, and its low-cut and pad switches allow it to be used for everything from close-miking to overheads effectively. This mic gives you very low self-noise, Class A transformerless circuitry, and very high SPL capacity. A 3-layer grille provides effective pop protection, making the KSM27 easy to set up and use.
Shure KSM27 Condenser Microphone Features:
- Uses the single version of the same diaphragm found in the multi-pattern KSM44
- Extended frequency response
- Low self-noise
- Exceptional low-frequency reproduction
- High output level
- High input SPL capability
- No crossover distortion
- Extremely uniform polar response
- Superior common mode rejection and suppression of radio frequency interference

Awesome little mic by Mike from Newark, NJ., May 11, 2007 Music Background: Recording Engineer, Musician.
“Don't let its diminutive size fool you. This mic sounds HUGE. The Shure KSM27 has a very natural sound quality. Nothing jumps out at you. What you stick it in front of ends up playing back identically. Well worth the price.”
