• Direct-coupled, balanced output ensures a clean signal even in high-output conditions
• Accepts optional interchangeable capsules: AT4049a-EL (omnidirectional) and AT4053a-EL (hypercardioid)
• Switchable 80 Hz hi-pass filter
• Turned-brass microphone housing with black chrome plating
• The AT4051a consists of two modular subassemblies: an AT4900a-48 body and an AT4051a-EL head capsule (both available separately).

		"A terrific all-purpose small diaphragm condenser. The 4051 has a generally "bright" character to it, but it's not overdone (like some small diaphragm mics in this category). The overall sound is full bodied, which makes it suitable in a variety of applications: Works great on snare, drum overhead, hi-hat, room mic, acoustic guitar, and must be heard on trumpet!"
